Master Retreat

A secluded master retreat accessible from a private stairway features a king-size bed, wall-mounted, 50" high-definition LCD TV recessed into a floor-to-ceiling natural stone fireplace surround. The master fireplace has a contemporary “fire-and-ice” design. Adding to the warmth of the room, the master suite has rich Brazilian cherry wood flooring and a deep burgundy area rug. The master suite features ocean views from a sitting area near the master fireplace and the veranda.

The master suite is outfitted with 800-thread count Egyptian cotton bed linens and fluffy down-stuffed duvet and pillows, and all-cotton duvet cover. The master retreat is also equipped with non-allergenic bedding for guests with allergies. To ensure our guests’ unrivaled comfort, we have outfitted the room with a firm “hotel quality” pillow-top mattress and down feather bed.

The master bathroom was totally demolished and rebuilt in 2010, using the finest Italian natural stone. The luxurious spa-like bathroom is a retreat unto itself where the walls are covered floor-to-ceiling with “cut-in-place” natural stacked quartzite with deep and contrasting colors and random shapes of ledger stone block.

Relax in the tropical rain and steam shower from which rain falls from four recessed head in the ceiling. With the push of a button, surround your self in therapeutic steam and let your worries melt away. The shower also features a hand-held shower head, 1/2-inch thick tempered glass “frameless” surround and floor-to-ceiling hand-cut natural quartzite.

The focal point of the master bathroom is modern art, oval, free-standing 72" soaking tub. A dramatic 4-foot high chrome filler and hand-sprayer are the perfect compliment to your bathing experience.

On top of two Italian travertine slab counter tops sit two over-sized white porcelain oval vessel bowls that match the soaking tub. A travertine slab vanity sits between the two vessel sinks. Modern chrome and frosted glass sconces, ceiling-height mirrors and new high-gloss porcelain flooring complete the “showcase” master bathroom.

The master retreat also features two closets, including a large walk-in closet fully outfitted by California Closets with dresser drawers jewelry keepers, and ample storage for extended visits.

Guest Suites

A glass and chrome rail system borders the custom-designed staircase that leads from the main entry, upstairs to the guest suites and the private master retreat. The smaller guest suite has a queen-size bed and wall-swivel-mounted 40" high definition LCD TV. The larger guest suite has two twin beds, ocean peek, walk-in closet, large deck with ocean peek, and 42-inch high-definition LCD TV. Both guest suites feature 500-thread count bed linens and fluffy down-filled duvets with chic all-cotton duvet covers.

The two guest suites share a full guest bathroom featuring a travertine slab counter top, pendant lighting, under-mount porcelain sink, and clear glass mosaic back splash. The water closet features unique porcelain tile accented with clear glass mosaic, and a tub and shower with sliding glass enclosure.
